We welcomed Sam Green into our Pre-School unit in March, she has several years experience working within private daycare and is a welcome addition to the team. Gilly has moved over to the baby unit to help cover the next few busy months, she has been in nursery for the full 20 years so is experienced in all units and age groups. Becki is now head of the baby unit and Jodie is in the main building covering as head of the toddler unit.
Due to changes in legislation we now have to list any of the 14 recognised allergens which are present in any food preparation. Please visit the website to look at our new Summer menus and also the information regarding allergens in food.
Thank you to everyone who completed and returned the forms, the feedback is valuable and has highlighted a couple of areas for improvement. As always every effort is made to give all our parents the appropriate information and feedback. Several parents felt that they were not given sufficient information with regard to activities etc. Each unit has their own notice board which gives an over view of the weeks activities. However, if required I am happy to have an information evening where I can deliver a session with regard to the delivery of the EYFS and the Letters and Sounds programme. Please email me to indicate interest.
Hopefully the warmer weather is on its way, please would you bring named sun cream and hats into nursery. We do have spares and always have a child sensitive sunscreen for emergencies.
Annual Charity Fun Day Sat 5th Sept 11 – 2 pm
This will be our sixth Charity Fun Day. It’s a great day with lots of fun things to do: bouncy castle, face paining, tombola, refreshments and much more.
